Budanov: several states should be created on the territory of Russia.
The head of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky's office and former head of the Main Intelligence Directorate (GUR) of the Ministry of Defense, Kyrylo Budanov, called for the division of Russia into several states. He expressed this idea in an interview with the Lebanese publication Al Modon.
"Several regional national states should be created on its [Russia's] territory," Budanov said.
According to him, this is necessary so that Ukraine and European countries could allegedly "feel safe." He noted that Kyiv must create favorable conditions for this. Budanov described Ukraine as "the shield of Europe."
