Tomorrow - Very Dangerous Maneuvers: World War III May Not Start in Ukraine - Daukahts

In the program "Globuss" on TV24, historian and political scientist Karlis Daukahts notes that it is alarming that many point out that World War III may erupt not in Ukraine, but in the Middle East, as the Russians, Chinese, and Iranians have currently begun military exercises in the Strait of Hormuz.

"They are essentially taking place in parallel with exercises conducted by the United States," notes Daukahts. Although the forces of the Russians and Chinese in this region are incomparable to the Americans, Daukahts points out that their very participation is a serious source of tension.

"Joint naval exercises of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Russia will take place tomorrow in the Persian Gulf and the northern part of the Indian Ocean," reports the ISNA news agency, citing a representative of the maneuvers, Rear Admiral Hasan Maghsoudlu. "The aim of the exercises is to strengthen maritime security and deepen relations between the naval forces of the two countries." The duration of the maneuvers has not been disclosed.
