Zelensky Announced Ukraine's Readiness to Join the European Union 0 12

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated the desire to join the European Union in 2027, when the country will be fully technically prepared for this. Zelensky made this statement during a press conference in Vilnius with Lithuanian President Gitanas Nausėda and Polish President Karol Nawrocki, which was broadcast on the official YouTube channel of the Ukrainian government.

However, Zelensky noted that Ukraine will be ready regarding the opening of all clusters as early as the first half of 2026.

"Ukraine will be fully technically ready in 2027, in our opinion, we want a specific date in our peace treaty to ensure that all parties adhere to the agreements," the Ukrainian leader added.
