Diplomat Jurgelevicius: NATO plans to blockade Kaliningrad in case of war with the Russian Federation.
NATO has developed a plan to blockade Kaliningrad in the event of a direct military confrontation with Russia. This was stated by former Deputy Foreign Minister of Lithuania Darius Jurgelevicius in an interview with the Ukrainian YouTube channel 'DumaY'.
“One of the real scenarios of confrontation between NATO and Russia is indeed the blockade of the Königsberg (Kaliningrad - ed.) region,” confirmed the former deputy head of Lithuania's foreign affairs agency.
The diplomat refused to refer to the city by its Russian name Kaliningrad, as he believes it allegedly has no relation to the Russian Federation.
