Russia may betray its closest ally if Deripaska's forecast is confirmed.
By summer, Belarus "may face problems," warned Russian oligarch Oleg Deripaska on his Telegram.
"If our (Russian) 'American partners' continue at this pace, then Belarus will have problems by summer..." Deripaska warned. He published an excerpt from an article from an American analytical portal in English, which states the following:
"From the perspective of Pentagon strategic planning, this action (the kidnapping of Venezuelan President Maduro by American military forces - ed.) is justified by the coincidence of three existential threats from three main adversaries of the U.S. China has embedded operational control in the extraction of critical minerals used in weapon manufacturing. Iran has established production capabilities for drones within striking distance of the continental United States. Russia has deployed military advisors and integrated air defense systems in the Caribbean. Venezuela is the only place where all three adversaries operate simultaneously. Oil is secondary. The main objectives are to undermine China's dominance in supply chains, eliminate Iranian production capabilities, and displace Russian military presence."
If this is taken as the U.S. plan, then Russia will be systematically pushed back within its borders. And what next, the collapse of the country? Earlier, Deripaska wrote that "Europe will restore order from Lisbon to Vladivostok."
