U.S. President Donald Trump, along with Secretary of War Pete Hegseth and Navy Chief John F. Kelly, will make a statement on an undisclosed topic.
The head of the White House will speak at 16:30 local time (23:30 Monday in Riga). It is unknown what exactly the American leader will be discussing.
Trump will remain in Palm Beach, Florida, rather than at the White House. An intelligence briefing will be held for him an hour before the announcement.
Earlier, Trump announced a retaliatory strike in Syria. As the president emphasized, the airstrike was carried out "successfully and accurately," noting that each target was hit "flawlessly."
