В Женеве премьерка Юлия Свириденко следовала за экс-министром обороны Рустемом Умеровым.

The points regarding territories and the consolidation of Ukraine's non-NATO membership must be agreed upon at the presidential level.

Ukrainian and American delegations dined together at the Italian restaurant Il Lago in Geneva's Four Seasons after negotiations.

In Geneva, it was possible to agree on most of the norms of the U.S. plan, and a significant part of the contentious issues were adjusted, RBC-Ukraine reports.

Among them are issues regarding the size of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant, the format of prisoner exchanges, and the return of convicts.

The points regarding territories and the consolidation of Ukraine's non-NATO membership must be agreed upon at the presidential level.

One of the contentious points in the "draft" concerns the demand for the withdrawal of the Ukrainian army from the Donetsk region.

A meeting between Zelensky and Trump may take place in the coming days. According to sources, the U.S. has offered Ukraine security guarantees for a period of 10 years. If Russia launches another offensive, the U.S. president has the right to deploy armed forces and intelligence, while NATO and its allies are obliged to act in coordination with the U.S.

Earlier, Reuters published a version of the European peace plan for Ukraine. It differs from the version by The Telegraph.

The main differences:

  • Establish the size of the Armed Forces of Ukraine at 800,000.

  • Restart the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant under the control of the IAEA, with the generated energy to be shared equally between Russia and Ukraine.

  • NATO will not deploy its troops in Ukraine on a permanent basis during peacetime.

  • The possibility of Russia returning to the G8 format.

  • Elections in Ukraine after the signing of the agreement.

  • Ukraine will not forcibly restore control over the occupied territories.

Political analyst Dmitry Drize noted in the Telegram channel "Kremlin's Madman" that the president of Ukraine recorded an address to the people, where a clear sense of confusion and perhaps even uncertainty in his abilities was evident. He publicly acknowledged for the first time that the country might lose a key ally, which in the current situation means complete defeat both on the battlefield and chaos in power.

Primarily, this refers to another deadline from Trump—the demand for Kyiv to sign the peace plan prepared by the White House by November 27—otherwise, arms and intelligence supplies may very well cease. However, it is still too early to write off Zelensky (politically).

The thing is, the 47th president of the United States remains true to himself—under pressure from the public, his own staff, and also Europe, he adjusted his position—saying that there is no need to rush to conclusions—that this current peace plan is not yet a final proposal. Over the past three days, Trump has been influenced.

And indeed—negotiations began in Geneva—with the participation of Secretary of State Marco Rubio, European countries, and, importantly, the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak, who was demanded to be dismissed, but evidently was not. Moreover, he continues to oversee the most important direction. It should also be emphasized that consultations are being held without Russia's participation. Their purpose is to find a compromise between Ukraine and its allies—to present a united front. In any case, with the support of Europe, Zelensky is on the rise.
