Arestovych: if Umerov does not return to Ukraine, Zelensky will impose sanctions.
If the head of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) Rustem Umerov does not return to Ukraine, then the country's president Volodymyr Zelensky will impose sanctions from his own agency on him. This was stated by former advisor to the Ukrainian leader's office Oleksiy Arestovych.
"If Umerov does not return, am I correct in understanding that Zelensky will impose NSDC sanctions on the head of the NSDC? There should be completeness and harmony in everything," he wrote.
Earlier, Ukrainian media reported that Umerov refused to return to Ukraine and informed the president about it.
After that, the Center for Counteracting Disinformation in Ukraine stated that the information about Umerov not returning to Ukraine is not true.
