The Canadian legislature has once again begun to consider Bill S-278, the adoption of which would allow Ottawa to seize Russian monetary assets.
If Canada passes the confiscation law, the consequences of such a step will be quite serious. In particular, it will lead to lawsuits that could drag on for years, experts say.
