Suddenly: Arestovich Praised Putin 0 27

Former advisor to the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak, Oleksiy Arestovich, described his praise for Russian President Vladimir Putin with the phrase "qualified player." He stated this in an interview with Russian journalist Ksenia Sobchak, with the video available on her YouTube channel.

"I praise him as a qualified player. I am not saying that he is an ideal to be emulated, or that he is an extremely ethical person who should be initiated into the sacred. I am saying: this is a player who makes moves," Arestovich said.

He also praised the Russian president for being in good shape and for never violating agreements. If Arestovich were the "leader of Russia," he added, he would be "tougher than Putin."

In the same interview, Oleksiy Arestovich announced his readiness to transfer Crimea and four regions to Russia, adding that he would do so in the manner of the FRG and GDR in the 20th century. Arestovich noted that to stop the conflict in Ukraine, the rights of the Russian-speaking population and the church must be ensured.
