41-year-old Katy Perry posted a series of photos on social media with 54-year-old Justin Trudeau, taken during their first official public appearance as a couple.
The lovebirds attended the premiere of the concert film Katy Perry: The Lifetimes Tour — Live from Paris, which took place as part of the Tribeca Film Festival in New York.
After the event, Trudeau shared Perry's post on his page and left a warm message addressed to the singer.
"What a special evening. Incredible energy on screen and in the hall! I’m so glad to be by your side, Katy," wrote the former head of the Canadian government.
The singer responded with her characteristic sense of humor: "Darling, for you — Katherine."
Rumors about the romance between Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau emerged shortly after the singer's breakup with Orlando Bloom. In recent months, the couple has been spotted together multiple times, and last fall they confirmed their relationship with a public appearance.
Previously, Trudeau was married to Sophie Grégoire, with whom he has three children. The couple announced their divorce after nearly two decades of marriage.
As for Katy Perry, she broke up with Orlando Bloom last summer after nine years of dating. The former lovers have a daughter, Daisy.
