Prince William Touchingly Spoke About Kate: 'Without Her, We Wouldn't Have Coped'

Prince William rarely allows himself such personal confessions, but this time he made an exception. The heir to the British throne publicly supported Kate Middleton, calling her "the most wonderful mom and wife" after a difficult period related to her cancer treatment.

Prince William called Kate Middleton "the most wonderful mom and wife" and shared how his wife's return to work went after her battle with cancer.

"She is the most wonderful mom and wife; without her, we simply wouldn’t have coped. I am so proud. I am very, very proud. She has been amazing. Over the past couple of years, she has been through a lot. She was really looking forward to and anxious about this trip to Italy, so I am very glad that everything went well," the prince admitted on Amanda Holden and Jamie Theakston's Heart Breakfast show.

Additionally, William talked about how Kate is currently working, as she has been appearing in public much more frequently lately: "She has become a true professional in early childhood development, so most evenings I struggle to put away all the documents in the bedroom that she has lined up to read. Now she spends God knows how much time gathering new information." Early childhood development is a topic that has long interested Kate. Most of the Princess of Wales's patronages are related to it.

It is worth noting that Kate Middleton has been married to the Prince of Wales for over 15 years. The couple has three children together: 12-year-old Prince George, 11-year-old Princess Charlotte, and 8-year-old Louis.

In March 2024, Middleton revealed that she was undergoing treatment for cancer. The princess did not appear in public for several months, leading to conspiracy theories online about Kate's health. In September of the same year, Middleton announced that she had finished her chemotherapy. Over the past two years, the princess has gradually been returning to work.

Recently, Kate returned from her first trip after recovery. During her visit to Italy, the princess visited the city of Reggio Emilia to learn more about the practices of the renowned Italian educator Loris Malaguzzi.

In the editor's opinion, Prince William's rare revelations only highlighted how difficult and emotional the recent period has been for the royal family. At the same time, it underscores how important a role Kate continues to play not only as a princess but also as the backbone of her family.
