Renowned fashion expert, stylist Vladislav Lisovets, shared his vision of key trends in women's footwear for spring-summer 2026. In an interview with popcornnews.ru, he emphasized that the once-popular combination of sneakers with dresses has completely fallen out of fashion.
"This is a very outdated and obsolete trend. It’s better to abandon such combinations. Elegant footwear is now in vogue: anything with a heel, pumps, boots. The sporty style and oversized looks are in the past," Lisovets stated emphatically.
The list of relevant models includes absolutely any footwear, except for sports shoes. This can be elegant stilettos, comfortable clogs, or stylish options with a low heel, such as men's loafers with a cute bow.
Regarding ballet flats, Lisovets recommends paying attention to models with a wide or even deliberately chunky square toe. Also trending are patent and velvet textures, as well as open sandals inspired by the 80s, which perfectly highlight femininity and sophistication.
"The coolest option is when the shoes slightly differ from your outfit, when they are interesting and draw attention in terms of color, texture, shape, and style," the stylist concluded, urging bold experimentation.
