The Duchess of Sussex is once again at the center of a conflict with her prominent relatives over the commercial use of her children's royal titles.
Prince Harry's wife, Meghan Markle, has once again provoked discontent within the royal family. The reason is candles released by her, named after the birthdays of their shared children. This incident was reported by Page Six, citing a source from Buckingham Palace.
On the official website of her brand As Ever, these candles are presented under the numbers No. 506 "Prince Archie Sussex's Birthday" and No. 604 "Princess Lilibet Sussex's Birthday." The scent of the first candle, dedicated to Archie, is described as "a warm fragrance that brings a soft atmosphere to the room." It includes notes of ginger, neroli, and cashmere, which is a delicate nod to the prince's red hair through honey-golden shades.
The second candle, created in honor of Lilibet, has "a light floral scent that fills the home with a sense of light." Its composition features notes of sandalwood and water lilies, which directly refers to the princess's name. A source from Buckingham Palace expressed deep outrage from the royal family. Their indignation is due to Meghan and Prince Harry actively using their children and their titles for commercial purposes. It is worth noting that in 2020, when Harry and Meghan stepped back from royal duties and moved to the U.S., Elizabeth II allowed them to retain the titles of Duke and Duchess of Sussex. However, they were strictly prohibited from using these titles for profit.
"This advertising campaign is an outrageous use of Archie and Lilibet's titles. Elizabeth II never wanted them to profit from this," emphasized the insider. He added that "Elizabeth II never wanted them to profit from this."

This is not the first time Meghan has involved her children, six-year-old Archie and four-year-old Lilibet, in advertising campaigns for her brand. They previously participated in a collaboration with a floral company. However, a source close to the couple claims that Meghan acts "very carefully" and always with Prince Harry's approval.
"Meghan is a mother, and her brand is dedicated to family and home comfort. She does not showcase her children," stated the insider. He also noted that the couple needs to cover significant expenses: just for security, Meghan and Harry spend about $3 million annually. "They need to earn a living somehow," the source concluded.
The British public has previously expressed dissatisfaction with Prince Harry and Meghan's demands for taxpayer-funded security. Prince Harry even lost a lawsuit trying to challenge the decision to deny him state protection.

Relationship History and Relocation
Let’s recall that in the summer of 2016, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, son of Princess Diana and King Charles III, met on a blind date organized by a mutual friend. Shortly after, they began a romantic relationship. The couple announced their engagement in November 2017, and just six months later, their lavish wedding took place in Windsor.
In their marriage, they welcomed two children: Archie and Lilibet. In 2020, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex decided to step back from royal duties and move to the United States with their children. Since then, their relationship with the royal family has remained extremely strained. This was exacerbated by the couple's high-profile interview with Oprah Winfrey, where they spoke critically about life in the palace, as well as Prince Harry's scandalous autobiography, in which he made unflattering remarks about members of his family.
