After recent creative failures, the Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle appeared as a judge on a popular Australian cooking competition.
After the recent fiasco with her own cooking project "With Love, Meghan," the Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle unexpectedly joined the judging panel of the popular Australian show "MasterChef." She has already participated in filming, appearing in the studio in an elegant black outfit and taking her place among other experts.
Not Her First Judging Experience
This is not the first time Meghan Markle has tried her hand as a culinary critic. In 2016, she served as a guest judge on the American cooking show Chopped Junior, which aired on the Food Network.
Creative Failures
It is worth reminding that her previous cooking project on Netflix, titled "With Love, Meghan," was canceled due to a barrage of negative reviews. Viewers accused the Duchess of being completely detached from real life. Following this, the streaming platform also ended its collaboration with another of Meghan's ventures — her company As Ever, which produced home goods and food products.
Return to Screens and Financial Issues
Recently, there have been active rumors about the possible return of the Duchess to the film industry after a seven-year hiatus. Against the backdrop of reports about the difficult financial situation of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry after their move from the UK and the loss of major contracts, the Duchess is apparently actively seeking new sources of income, participating in paid retreats and attending fashion shows for modest fees.
