41-year-old Elena Tovstik desperately clung to her 22-year marriage to 51-year-old businessman Roman Tovstik, but a recent court decision has finally shattered her hopes. The judge dismissed Elena's latest appeal, thereby irrevocably concluding the high-profile divorce proceedings. Philipp Ryabchenko, Roman's lawyer, informed the publication "Gazeta.Ru" about the final verdict: "Elena Tovstik's complaint regarding the divorce decision was dismissed. Elena sought to overturn the divorce ruling and effectively demanded to maintain the marriage. On March 24, the Nikulinsky Court rejected the appeal. The marriage is dissolved, and the decision has entered into legal force."

Long Divorce Story
Last autumn, Elena and Roman Tovstik officially ended their 22 years of life together. From this union, six children were born, three of whom now live with their mother. The main reason for the family's discord, according to rumors, was Roman's affair with Polina Dibrova, the ex-wife of famous TV presenter Dmitry Dibrov. However, Polina herself categorically denies any involvement in the Tovstiks' breakup, claiming that Roman decided to divorce long before they met, several years ago.
