What is known
According to published information, in December 2022, Grebenshchikov* and his wife registered a company in the United Kingdom. At that time, they indicated Russian citizenship in the documents.
Later, on March 16, 2026, changes were made to the register: the company submitted notifications regarding the update of the owners' personal data. The documents state that the spouses now hold British citizenship.
Context
Previously, the musician's name was involved in legal proceedings in Russia. In October 2025, a court in St. Petersburg fined him 40,000 rubles for violating the regulations governing the activities of foreign agents.
Additionally, in June 2023, a Moscow court found Grebenshchikov* guilty of publicly discrediting the Armed Forces of Russia and imposed a fine of 50,000 rubles.
