The Tagansky District Court of Moscow imposed administrative fines on the messenger Telegram totaling 10.5 million rubles. The decision is related to the failure to comply with the requirements for removing prohibited information.
According to the case materials, the company was found guilty of failing to remove content related to extremist activities under one of the protocols. For this episode, the court imposed a fine of 7 million rubles.
The second protocol concerned the failure to remove other categories of prohibited information, including materials that fall under legislative restrictions. A fine of 3.5 million rubles was imposed in this case.
Thus, the total amount of sanctions amounted to 10.5 million rubles. The decision was made under administrative legislation.
