The spouses were married for 17 years and were always considered an exemplary couple. But the beautiful story ended in court battles and mutual animosity.
The series of celebrity divorces this year shows no signs of ending. Just as many were catching their breath after the scandalous separation of Dmitry Dibrov and his wife, and lamenting the broken marriage of Yegor Beroev and Ksenia Alferova, news broke of the collapse of yet another famous family.
Hockey player Pavel Bure and his wife Alina Khasanovna have filed for divorce after 17 years of marriage. The couple, who always seemed exemplary, are now resolving their issues in court, where they will not only divide their property but also determine with whom their three children will stay.
The future spouses met in Turkey when Alina was still a student at the Plekhanov Academy. Despite the age difference, their relationship developed rapidly, and four years later, Bure proposed. The marriage produced a son, Pavel, and two daughters — Palina (the name is derived from the names of both parents — editor's note) and the youngest, seven-year-old Anastasia.
As recently as the summer of 2025, everything seemed well. Alina celebrated her birthday in a grand manner at a restaurant in Moscow surrounded by her husband, children, and close friends. However, by December, the spouses had filed counterclaims. Alina Bure's lawyer, Natalia Zabrudskaya, told “StarHit” that a comprehensive case is currently being heard in the Khamovniki Court of Moscow. It includes issues regarding the determination of the residence of the minor children, the order of communication with them, the division of property, and the divorce itself.
Serious property disputes are also ahead. According to some reports, the couple's total assets are estimated at around $70 million. The preliminary hearing for the case has already been postponed and is now scheduled for February 18, 2026. Alina Bure refrains from public comments, only noting that she is going through a difficult time with the children and is emotionally drained by the legal process. One of her last public declarations of love was made in 2024 on her blog. At that time, she expressed gratitude for meeting Pavel: “We met when I was 17, and this person played an important role in shaping my personality. Not a day went by that I didn’t feel his support. This is incredibly valuable to me... My beloved! I am grateful to you for all the years together, for our wonderful children who inherit our best traits. I am thankful for every day in which I am sure that we made the right choice.”
