Meat Stew in 10 Minutes: Quick, Simple, and Delicious

If you want to prepare a delicious meat stew without spending a long time at the stove, you can replace the meat with hot dogs or sausage. The dish takes only 10 minutes to prepare, and the result is so juicy and aromatic that it can confidently be served even to guests.

Ingredients:

  • Sausage (or hot dogs) — 450 g
  • Onion — 1 pc
  • Carrots — 2 pcs
  • Potatoes — 4 pcs
  • Bell peppers — 2 pcs
  • Cherry tomatoes — 250 g
  • Canned beans in tomato sauce — 400 ml
  • Beef broth — 100 ml
  • Salt, black pepper, paprika — to taste
  • Parsley for garnish

Preparation:

  1. Sautéing the sausage: Cut the sausage into rings about 1 cm thick. Heat a skillet over medium heat, add the sausage, and sauté for 5 minutes until golden brown, turning occasionally. Remove the cooked sausage from the skillet and set aside.

  2. Vegetables: In the skillet where the sausage was cooked, sauté the sliced onion for 1 minute until soft and lightly golden. Add the sliced carrots and sauté for 2 minutes, maintaining their texture.

  3. Potatoes and peppers: Cut the potatoes into medium-sized cubes and add them to the vegetables, sautéing for 2 minutes. Then add the bell peppers, stir, season with salt and pepper, and sprinkle with paprika.

  4. Beans and tomatoes: Pour in the canned beans with tomato sauce, stir, and sauté for 3 minutes. Cut the cherry tomatoes in half and add them to the skillet for freshness and juiciness.

  5. Final simmering: Return the sausage, gently stir, and pour in the beef broth. Reduce the heat to medium, cover with a lid, and simmer for 30 minutes, checking occasionally to ensure the vegetables do not burn and the broth thickens.

  6. Serving: Sprinkle the finished stew with freshly chopped parsley. The dish is ready to serve without a side — it is already complete and hearty.

Tip: For an even richer flavor, add a couple of grated garlic cloves 2–3 minutes before the vegetables finish cooking.
