Prime Minister Evika Silinā plans to attend the Winter Olympic Games in Milan and Cortina d'Ampezzo with three accompanying persons, reported the Prime Minister's advisor Anna Udre.
Silinā, President Edgars Rinkēvičs, and Minister of Education and Science Daiga Melbārde are included in the Latvian Olympic delegation as honorary guests.
Along with the Prime Minister, three employees from her office will travel to Italy - Head of the Office Ieva Zīberga, Protocol Consultant Skaidrīte Zaranē, and Digital Communications Consultant Paula Muižnieka.
As reported, the Latvian Olympic delegation will consist of 68 athletes, which is the largest representation in the history of Latvia's participation in the Winter Olympic Games.
The Winter Olympic Games in Milan and Cortina d'Ampezzo will take place from February 6 to 22.
