Cozy and Comfortable: The Perfect Clothing for Home and Sleep

It seems we have stopped wearing stretched, faded tank tops and sweatpants with sagging knees or dragon-patterned robes at home, but the question "What to wear" remains relevant, as home wardrobes continue to be an integral part of style and everyday comfort.

In 2025, trends are shifting towards fabrics that not only "don’t constrict" but also care for the body, silhouettes that embrace both hugs and movement, and shades that please the eye. Stylist Alina Lobanova discussed the main directions in home and sleepwear that are worth considering right now.

Calm Silhouettes from Soft Textures

Loose, yet not shapeless models are the basic trend. A t-shirt with a round neckline and wide sleeves, jogger pants made of soft knitwear, and sets of "sweater and trousers" with a straight line — all of this is comfortable, natural, and visually pleasing. "The requirement is simple: the fabric must breathe and literally hug the body without any restraint, especially in the cold. It’s not just about comfort, but the feeling of being stylish and attractive — even if you spend the whole day in your cozy and tactilely pleasant pajamas," the expert asserts.

Fabric Technologies: Cooling, Antibacterial Qualities, Lightness

Regarding naturalness — the list of acceptable fabrics has long ceased to be limited to just cotton. Textile brands are implementing technologies that were recently the prerogative of active sports. Knitwear with a cooling effect, fabric with antibacterial treatment, lightweight blends of modal or bamboo — all of this makes sleep and rest more comfortable. It’s important: even at home, the body deserves a "premium-tech" option.

A Mix of Home and Street Aesthetics

Homewear is no longer used solely for its intended purpose. Nowadays, the trend is hybrid: a cashmere sweater that can be worn both at home and on a walk, soft trousers that can be styled with sneakers and a leather jacket, a cardigan-coat that is perfect for meeting friends or shopping and for an evening movie in your living room. Such clothing works for both relaxation and full outings.

Pastel Palette and Soft Accents

The dress code of home wardrobes is moving away from gray, faceless, and stain-resistant shades, giving way to warm neutrals and pastels: caramel, delicate tea color, muted sea, matte terracotta. "They create a sense of coziness and lightness at the same time. And if you want a color accent — choose chunky knitwear or a pajama set with a thin stripe of rich color, a fun cartoon print, or a motivating slogan," advises the stylist.

Paying Attention to Details — and Footwear

Home clothing wins when it is properly tailored and sewn. Soft cuffs, built-in lightweight belts, unnecessary fasteners, and buttons are excluded. Cozy slippers, woolen socks, warm slippers with non-slip soles, or minimalist home loafers complete the look.
