On December 7 in Riga, commentator Ilya Kolmanovsky and chef Ivan Shishkin will try to find an answer to the question: how to live if meat has been declared one of the most harmful products for human health and the entire planet?
We invite you to participate in a scientific and gastronomic show, during which two experts will discuss scientific ideas and common stereotypes about food, and, of course, prepare completely unexpected dishes right before your eyes.
We will discuss how reasonable consumption should be organized and what to eat to live long and happily.
As a result, you will not only learn what modern science thinks about products and their preparation but also take away a recipe for how to cook and eat wisely and — most importantly! — with joy, following the advice of Epicurus.
Ilya Kolmanovsky — science commentator, author of the podcast 'Naked Mole Rat'. For over 20 years, he has been explaining complex scientific discoveries in simple terms, turning facts into stories and igniting curiosity.
Ivan Shishkin — a chef without a restaurant, a teacher of applied natural sciences, and a writer, author of books. For more than 15 years, Ivan has been cooking, training chefs, studying food, and pondering the essence of products.
