Grand Concerts of '10 Tenors' with Symphony Orchestra to Take Place in Riga, Valmiera, and Daugavpils

On December 17 in Daugavpils (Daugavpils Kultūras pils), December 18 in Valmiera (Valmieras Olimpiskais centrs), and December 19 in Riga (Xiaomi Arēna), one of the largest musical events of the winter will take place - concerts of the world-famous project '10 Tenors'. A symphony orchestra, 10 tenors from 5 countries, the most famous hits in the world, a grand show that has captivated audiences across Europe. Each performer in this project is an individuality with their own timbre and charisma, and together they create a sound that has no analogs.

The concert program covers the golden fund of world musical classics and popular hits. The audience will hear famous opera arias by Verdi and Puccini, Italian masterpieces 'O Sole Mio' and 'Torna a Surriento', rock and pop compositions by Queen, Tom Jones, Frank Sinatra, and Ed Sheeran, as well as Spanish and Latin American ballads — 'La Bamba', 'Besame Mucho', 'Funikuli Funikulà'. From opera arias to rock ballads - music that unites generations and is understood without translation.

The summer performances of '10 Tenors' in Jurmala and Liepaja caused a real sensation — the concerts were held to full houses, and the audience greeted the artists with thunderous applause, not letting them leave the stage. The composition 'Debesis iekrita tevī…', performed in Latvian, was encored twice. This time, the Riga concert will feature Latvian stars – the unique ethno-pop collective Tautumeitas and the brilliant vocalist Samanta Tina, while the evening will be hosted by the charismatic singer and TV presenter Roberto Meloni. The popular Latvian theater and film actor Imants Strads will host the concert in Valmiera.

The conductor of the concert is Igor Yaroshenko (Ukraine), a distinguished artist, chief choirmaster of the Kyiv National Operetta Theater, and the author of more than fifteen major productions. He created all the arrangements for '10 Tenors', specially adapting each song for the unique combination of ten voices and a symphony orchestra.

The organizers invite all music lovers to experience the power of live sound and the atmosphere of great art. This evening promises to be one of the brightest cultural events of the winter and will give the audience a true sense of celebration and inspiration.
