Many people dry their clothes on the radiator during the heating season, but this is strongly discouraged — favorite items can be ruined.
Reasons:
- Stains may appear on clothes, especially if the radiator is old and covered with rust or corrosion.
- This should not be done with delicate fabrics — wool and fine silk may shrink or deform.
- Drying on the radiator makes the fabric too dry, making subsequent ironing difficult.
It is better to use a special drying rack for laundry. If you need to speed up the process, ventilate the room or place a fan nearby.
