On November 27 at 19:00, at the VEF Culture Palace, the State Royal National Ballet of Georgia presents a new choreographic show "Magical Georgia."
"Magical Georgia" is a performance that everyone must see. Here’s how the most popular magazine in the USA, The New York Times, begins its article:
“The State Royal National Ballet of Georgia presents a spectacular dance show showcasing amazing technique. Georgian rhythms, dynamic precise movements, and passionate performances truly reflect the title of the program, "Magical Georgia." Exclusive dance numbers featuring daggers and sabers will be an unforgettable spectacle for every viewer. The masterful staging and colorful costumes will take you on a journey through centuries of Georgia.
The State Royal National Ballet of Georgia, under the direction of Gela Potskhishvili and Maia Kiknadze, has been performing on stage for over 47 years. More than 40 million people in 80 countries around the world have applauded the dancers, who amaze audiences with their magnificent technique, unmatched artistry, daring, and unrestrained expressiveness unique to Georgian dances. The artists of the Theater continuously gather and study authentic national dances, seeking new modern choreographic solutions, offering stage miniatures, novellas, and entire performances that illustrate the past and present of the Georgian people.

The new choreographic program "Magical Georgia" is a bright, colorful, lyrical show that allows you to touch the unique Georgian culture and immerse yourself in the enchanting world of dance, harmoniously combining jewel-like precise movements, style, elegance, and emotionality of the Georgians.
The new program includes dances choreographed half a century ago by Gelodi Potskhishvili, the founder of the Potskhishvili choreographic dynasty, which Gela Potskhishvili has adapted to modern performances and tailored for the new show program "Magical Georgia." The costumes and concept have been updated, and the new show has acquired a perfect classical look.
The choreographic show "Magical Georgia" features 370 costumes, unique Georgian music, and describes every corner of Georgia in such a way that viewers travel through unique corners of Georgia, cities, and villages for a full 2 hours, gaining a vivid understanding of their life and customs.
A distinctive feature of the program is that "Magical Georgia" is not a collection of separate dance numbers, but a complete performance united by a common idea and storyline. All of this, combined with picturesque costumes and grand decorations, captures the audience's attention and keeps their eyes glued to the action on stage from the moment the curtain rises until the final bow of the artists.

The State Royal National Ballet of Georgia has toured almost all countries in the world. From 1990 to the present, the Theater has performed in Austria, Finland, Sweden, Switzerland, Greece, India, the USA, Spain, Egypt, France, Japan, ten times in Italy, England, New Zealand, Australia, Turkey, Israel, and more. There are a vast number of wonderful reviews and press feedback regarding the Theater's tours.
With the participation of talented artists, Gela Potskhishvili has created a theater-show. In this theater, new thinking in dance has gained immense significance in a modern direction. Based on traditional Georgian dances, new works of contemporary national choreography are being created.
