The Earth's Core 'Ejects' Jewels: Gold and Ruthenium Rise to the Surface

Deep beneath the Earth's crust, in the scorching layers of the core, lie untold reserves of gold and other precious metals. According to Zakon.kz, these treasures are now beginning to break through to the surface.

For a long time, geologists, as reported by Earth.com, were convinced that colossal riches, including gold and ruthenium, were forever locked at the boundary between the core and the mantle. This zone lies at an impressive depth of about 3000 kilometers beneath the planet's surface.

However, fresh research reveals a surprising picture: some of these precious metals are gradually moving upward. They reach the surface as a result of powerful volcanic eruptions, particularly noticeable on islands like Hawaii.

For example, clear traces of ruthenium have been found in Hawaiian lava. This serves as compelling evidence that there is a slow but steady leak from the deepest and most mysterious depths of our Earth.

Many of these revolutionary discoveries have been made possible thanks to the meticulous work of researchers from the University of Göttingen. They carefully compared precise isotopic ratios, uncovering previously unexplained anomalies.

According to scientists, these anomalies can only be explained by the existence of a hidden source of precious metals deep within the planet. This points to dynamic processes occurring in the Earth's depths.

As Professor Matthias Wilbold explained, it can now be proven that vast volumes of superheated mantle material, several hundred quadrillion metric tons of rock, are formed at the boundary between the core and the mantle and rise to the Earth's surface, creating oceanic islands such as Hawaii.

Most of this irrefutable evidence has been found in molten rocks. These rocks feed the majestic volcanoes of Hawaii, serving as a window into the depths of our planet.
