How fast does the fastest robot run?

The Chinese have showcased the fastest robot, which runs at a speed of 36 km/h and does not get tired (but at least it runs out of battery).

On the treadmill, the robot easily surpassed one of its creators, and it can run 100 meters in just 10 seconds — almost like the Jamaican legend Usain Bolt, whose record of 9.58 seconds has remained unbroken for over 16 years. The developers named the robot Bolt in honor of the legendary athlete.

The running robot stands 175 cm tall and weighs 75 kg. To move like a human, it is made of lightweight yet very strong materials, and its joints operate on powerful and efficient motors. The robot maintains balance and stability while running thanks to a unique development by Jingshi Technology — a special control algorithm. This algorithm functions like the human cerebellum, instantly correcting body position and distributing load.

Achieving a speed comparable to Bolt's was made possible by the experience gained from creating previous models. The earlier developed robot Black Panther, which moves on four legs, already demonstrated an impressive speed of 10.3 m/s. The technologies refined on Black Panther were successfully applied in the new bipedal robot, allowing for faster development and solving the complex task of maintaining balance at high speeds. The transition from a four-legged to a bipedal mechanism made the robot's movements smoother, more natural, and more human-like.

As the developers note, the humanoid was assembled not only to break records but also to create a technological foundation for the next generation of bots that surpass humans.
