It is believed that this stealth drone was introduced into the US military in the mid-2010s and plays a crucial role in maintaining US intelligence capabilities in areas where traditional drones like the RQ-4 Global Hawk may be vulnerable to detection.

The very large RQ-180 drone type was first spotted in the sky over Larissa Air Base in the city of the same name in Greece, where American MQ-9 Reaper drones are also based.

Experts believe that the RQ-180 can fly at very high altitudes, possibly even above 18,000 meters, and remain airborne for about 24 hours.
