The smartphone market will see more devices with larger screens. This is reported by Android Authority.

Journalists from the media outlet referred to a well-known insider under the nickname Digital Chat Station, who stated that several smartphone manufacturers have begun developing devices with an increased display diagonal. Such devices will also stand out with a wide aspect ratio.

The insider explained that phones with screens of 7 inches or larger will become common in the industry. This size, according to the specialist, will gradually become the new standard.

The journalists at Android Authority noted that most smartphones on the market have screen diagonals ranging from 6.5 to 6.9 inches. The most compact devices usually have screens of 6.1 or 6.3 inches. "It is somewhat disappointing that companies are not working on truly small phones with screens smaller than six inches," the authors concluded.
