Trump Spilled the Beans on the “Discombobulator,” a Secret Weapon Used to Capture Maduro

U.S. President Donald Trump revealed the existence of a new type of weapon used during the operation on January 3, which resulted in the capture of former Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro. This so-called "Discombobulator" or "Disorientator."

In an interview with The New York Post, Donald Trump used the term "Discombobulator" to refer to this weapon, although he clarified that he was "not allowed to talk about it." Despite this restriction, the president shared many details about its effectiveness.

According to Trump, the device completely incapacitated the complex defense equipment of the Bolivarian forces. The U.S. president claims that this weapon disabled Venezuelan military hardware and that Venezuelan troops were unable to launch their missiles, despite being equipped with Russian and Chinese weaponry.

In subsequent statements, Trump confirmed that this is a sound weapon that "no one else has," calling it "incredible."

Technical Specifications of the System

Although official details remain classified, analysts suggest that the system is an evolution of localized electromagnetic pulse or powerful wideband jamming systems.

According to descriptions provided by official sources, the system operates as follows:

Spectrum jamming: it blocks missile control signals and nullifies the enemy's analog and digital radio communications and wireless networks.

Neutralization of foreign systems: the weapon is capable of suppressing Russian and Chinese defense technologies deployed at Venezuelan bases.

Eyewitness Accounts

Accounts from Venezuelan soldiers who witnessed the operation provide a troubling insight into the weapon's effects.

One of Maduro's security team members recounted that suddenly, without explanation, all radar systems were shut down, after which American drones and helicopters conducted a massive flyover of the territory.

The most alarming testimonies describe the physical impact of the weapon. One guard claims that American forces used a "very intense sound wave" and that "suddenly, it felt like my head was exploding inside." According to this account, the guard's comrades experienced nosebleeds, vomiting, and loss of the ability to stand.

Those who watched the series "Stranger Things" compare it to something like sound disorientation, but transferred to real life.

Another Venezuelan soldier described the scene as follows: "They were shooting with such accuracy and speed that it seemed like each soldier was firing 300 rounds per minute. We couldn’t do anything." He added that the Venezuelan military "had no chance of competing with their technology, with their weapons": "I have never seen anything like it. We couldn’t even stand up after that sound weapon, or whatever it was."
