Apple will begin test production of the iPhone 18 in March. This was announced on Weibo by a well-known blogger under the nickname Fixed Focus Digital.

According to the author, the American IT giant will launch trial production of smartphones after the Chinese New Year. In 2026, the celebrations will start on February 17 and end on March 3. The specialist explained that Apple depends on its Chinese partners and will start producing the iPhone 18 as soon as the factories return to their normal work schedule.

The disclosed material states that the production lines for the iPhone 18 Pro are already running. This is because Apple has already approved the design, main specifications, and release dates for the flagship device. It is reported that the new device will not differ significantly from the iPhone 17 Pro.

Journalists from the specialized publication MacRumors added that in 2026, Apple will divide the release of basic and flagship smartphones of the same series for the first time. The announcement and availability of the iPhone 18 Pro for sale is expected in September, while the iPhone 18 is anticipated in the spring of 2027. Additionally, next fall, the IT giant is expected to present its first foldable smartphone.

Previously, authoritative insider Ming-Chi Kuo revealed that the foldable iPhone will be a scarce product in the first months after its announcement. According to him, supplies of the gadget will not begin until at least 2027.
