Russian President Vladimir Putin, during a live Q&A session, answered a question about the artificial nature of the 3I Atlas object, which, according to astronomers, is passing near Earth.
In response to suggestions about the artificial origin of the object, Putin stated that it is a comet and allegedly poses no threat.
"Are there signs of artificial origin? <...> If they are guests from space, we would like to prepare," asked Kristina from Tyumen.
According to the head of state, Russian scientists supposedly have complete information about what is happening. He noted that the object has extragalactic origins and differs in its characteristics from the comets of the Solar System, including the composition of its shell and the processes on its surface when approaching the Sun.
"Well, it’s a comet. Our scientists know what is happening there. Moreover, it’s a comet from another galaxy," said Putin.
The president clarified that the size of the object is estimated to be several kilometers, and the distance to it is hundreds of millions of kilometers, which excludes any danger to Earth. According to him, at the beginning of next year, the comet will leave the Solar System.
Recall that in the USA, a mysterious property was noticed in the 'alien ship' that invaded the Solar System.
