Windows 11 has proven to be the most unreliable OS due to Microsoft's experiments.
Journalists from XDA reported that the reasons for the constant failures of Windows 11 lie in Microsoft's desire to experiment. The material is available on the mobile developers' community website.
As noted by portal reviewer Adam Conway, at the end of November, Microsoft acknowledged that all major features of Windows 11 are broken. He pointed out that since its release in 2021, the current operating system (OS) has been performing worse and worse each year, and the problem is that Microsoft has failed to create a stable system.
Conway suggested that Microsoft engineers have become too caught up in artificial intelligence (AI) features that are often added to the OS. "There is a growing feeling that Microsoft's focus on AI is distracting from real issues," the specialist noted. He also recalled the words of the company's CEO Satya Nadella, who stated in April that 30 percent of the code for Windows 11 was written by a neural network, not by living people.
The author concluded that users expect stable performance from the OS — a consistently opening Start menu, a fast file manager, and other standard features. "These should be basic expectations, not a set of options that are considered ambitious requirements," the journalist summarized.
