Apple and Google have developed a service that simplifies the transition from iOS to Android and back.

American corporations Apple and Google have agreed to create a technology for quick data transfer between iPhone and Android devices. This was reported by the specialized publication 9to5Google.

The new technology was discovered in the beta version of the Android operating system (OS) build. Experts explained that engineers from Apple and Google created a system that will allow for quick data transfer from iPhone to Android phones and vice versa. This will enable a simplified process for transferring information and settings from an old iPhone to a new phone running Google's OS or back.

Details about the operation of the new service are not yet known. However, Google confirmed that the fast transfer technology, developed in collaboration with Apple, will indeed appear in future versions of the OS.

Journalists at 9to5Google noted that Apple and Google traditionally compete in the OS and smartphone market and have not been inclined to let their users move to other ecosystems. However, both companies previously created applications that simplify the transition from smartphone to smartphone: Apple launched the Move to iOS service, while Google introduced Android Switch.
