The Italian magazine Auto, one of the organizers of the prestigious The Car of the Year 2026 award, has presented seven finalists of the competition.
The Italian publication Isole 24 ore reports that the finalists of the competition, selected by 62 jurors from 23 European countries, include:
Citroën C5 Aircross – a 4.65-meter SUV with an electric version producing 213 hp and hybrid gasoline engines with power ranging from 145 to 195 hp;
Dacia Bigster – a 4.57-meter SUV with gasoline hybrids and a GPL version;
Fiat Grande Panda – a new version of the iconic city car measuring 4 meters long with gasoline, hybrid, and fully electric engines;
Kia EV4 – a fully electric compact crossover;
Mercedes CLA;
Renault R4 E-Tech;
Škoda Eniaq.
The winner of the award will be announced on January 9 at the Brussels Motor Show.
