At the end of October, the IT giant began selling parts for the new smartphones and published instructions for them. The cost of home repairs for the iPhone 17 starts at $99 — that’s the price of the battery. Replacing the back glass will cost $159, and the display will cost $329.
Servicing the flagship iPhone 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max and the ultra-thin iPhone Air costs about the same. However, replacing the battery in the top models costs $119, as these models have batteries with increased capacity. The prices are listed without repair costs — it is expected that the user will service their device themselves.
According to official data, the most expensive part of the new smartphones is the display. In almost all cases, it costs $329. However, for the iPhone 17 Pro Max, which features a 6.9-inch screen, the part costs more — $379.
