Austria defeated Latvia, achieving their third victory at the World Championship – 2026
The Austrian national team defeated Latvia in a group stage match of the 2026 Ice Hockey World Championship taking place in Switzerland. The game was held at the arena in Zurich and ended with a score of 3:1 in favor of the Austrians.
The goals for the winners were scored by Tim Harnisch, Benjamin Nissner, and Vincenz Rohrer. The only goal for Latvia was scored by Rudolf Balcers.
