Latvian tennis player Alena Ostapenko and Russian player Mira Andreeva are currently playing in the first round of the WTA tournament in Stuttgart, Germany.
Ostapenko won the first set 7-5 after being down 2-4 at one point.
28-year-old Ostapenko is ranked 22nd in the world. 18-year-old Andreeva is ranked 9th in the world. This is the first time the opponents are playing against each other.
The tournament in Stuttgart started on April 13 and will end on April 19.
