24-year-old French biathlete Éric Perrot has become the winner of the overall World Cup 2025/26.
Today, March 20, he secured the Big Crystal Globe ahead of time, finishing third in the sprint in Holmenkollen (Norway).
The Frenchman currently has 1123 points, which is 268 more than second-placed Sebastian Samuelsson (Sweden). There are still two races ahead, a pursuit and a mass start, in which the Swede will not be able to make up the deficit.
Earlier, Perrot won two gold medals in the mixed relay and men's relay at the 2026 Olympics in Antholz (Italy). He also finished second in the individual race there. He has three more victories at the World Championships.
