Portugal national team forward Cristiano Ronaldo has acquired 25% of the shares of Spanish Almería.

“I have long dreamed of contributing to football not just on the field. Almería is a Spanish club with a solid foundation and clear potential for growth. I look forward to working with the management to support the next stage of the club's development,” Ronaldo's words are quoted by journalist Ben Jacobs on social media X.
“Almería is in third place in the Segunda table for the 2025/2026 season. The team has earned 48 points from 27 matches.
