Former Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos commented on the situation with Al-Nassr forward Cristiano Ronaldo in the Saudi league.
"The Saudi league is a funny place because nobody had heard of them before Cristiano arrived, and now they don't respect the one who brought them worldwide fame. I'll tell you straight: if Cristiano leaves tomorrow, no one will watch this league anymore," said the German in his podcast.
It was previously reported that Cristiano Ronaldo is unhappy with the policies of the Saudi Arabian investment fund that owns the clubs Al-Nassr, Al-Ittihad, Al-Hilal, and Al-Ahli.
According to media reports, the Portuguese is dissatisfied with Al-Nassr's transfers in the winter.
