20-time Grand Slam winner Roger Federer responded to the question of whether he wants to start a coaching career.
“Never say never. Right now I’m very busy — I have four children, so at the moment there’s no chance. But Stefan Edberg once said the same thing,” said Federer, as reported by journalist José Morgado.
The 44-year-old Swiss noted that he feels great now and enjoys spending time with his family.
“When I made the decision to retire, it was a relief,” Federer stated.
On September 15, 2022, Federer announced his retirement. He played his last match on September 23 of the same year at the Laver Cup.
