Following the group stage of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, all participants of the 1/8 finals have been determined. The tournament is taking place from December 21, 2025, to January 18, 2026, in Morocco.
From Group A, Morocco (first place) and Mali (second place) qualified for the playoffs; from Group B — Egypt and South Africa; from Group C — Nigeria and Tunisia; from Group D — Senegal and DR Congo; from Group E — Algeria and Burkina Faso; from Group F — Ivory Coast and Cameroon.
Among the teams that finished third in their groups, Mozambique, Benin, Sudan, and Tanzania advanced to the playoffs.
The teams that exited the tournament are Zambia, Zimbabwe, Uganda, Botswana, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Angola, and the Comoros.
