Australian Nick Kyrgios admitted that he could lose to Arina Sabalenka, who is ranked first in the WTA rankings.
The exhibition match between Sabalenka and Kyrgios titled "Battle of the Sexes" will take place in Dubai on December 28.
"Arina is a very dangerous opponent for many male players even from the top 100," Kyrgios said in an interview for journalist Piers Morgan's YouTube channel. "I will have to give it my all to win. I have had a tough period in my career, so I have no doubt that Arina can beat me. It will be a great show, and I am sure that the interest in it will be higher than in many regular ATP tour matches. It is an honor for me to play against her. Arina's first serve is better than that of some male professionals. It definitely won't be an easy walk."
This year, the 30-year-old Kyrgios has played only five matches due to injuries and currently ranks only 672nd in the world rankings. His highest position in the ATP rankings was 13th.
