Washington Capitals forward Alexander Ovechkin recorded an assist in the NHL regular season game against the Winnipeg Jets (1:5) and achieved another milestone.
Thus, Ovechkin scored his 611th point on the power play (328 goals, 283 assists) and surpassed Jaromir Jagr (610).
The Russian moved into 10th place in NHL history for the most points scored on the power play.
In the current NHL season, Ovechkin has 31 points (14+17) in 32 games.
