McLaren driver Lando Norris became the Formula 1 champion for the 2025 season.
In the final race of the championship in Abu Dhabi, the Brit finished in third place. The winner was Max Verstappen from Red Bull, while Norris's teammate Oscar Piastri finished second.
After 24 stages of the 2025 season, Norris scored 423 points, with Max Verstappen finishing second, 2 points behind the Brit in the individual standings. Oscar Piastri took third place with 410 points.
Lando Norris became the Formula 1 champion for the first time in his career. Previously, Max Verstappen had won the individual standings four times in a row.
