The former head coach of London’s Arsenal, Arsène Wenger, named the main favorite for the upcoming World Cup.
According to the specialist, the French national team has the best chances of winning the tournament.
“I try to be as objective as possible, but France is the main favorite for one reason: they have more world-class forwards than any other country. And that will make a huge difference,” Wenger's words are quoted by The Independent journalist Miguel Delaney on the social network X.
The final of the 2026 World Cup will take place at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, a suburb of New York. The current world champion is the Argentine national team.
