20-time Grand Slam winner and former world number one Roger Federer will be inducted into the International Tennis Hall of Fame in 2026.
The ceremony will take place from August 27 to 29 in Newport, USA. This was reported by the organization's press service.
Federer ended his career at the Laver Cup in 2021. The Swiss tennis player surpassed 2009 US Open champion Juan Martín del Potro from Argentina and two-time Grand Slam winner Svetlana Kuznetsova from Russia in the voting.
Federer also became the first tennis player in history to win 20 titles at Grand Slam tournaments.
