The publication sportspro.com has compiled a list of 50 athletes who are the most sought after for various advertising integrations. Three indicators were considered: social media audience reach, personal brand status, and economic potential.
At the top of the ranking is British racing driver Lewis Hamilton. The top three also includes gymnast Simone Biles and rugby player Ilona Maher. Following them are basketball player Stephen Curry, footballers Cristiano Ronaldo and Neymar. There is only one female tennis player in the top 10 — Coco Gauff (10th place).
Arina Sobolenko is the second among female tennis players, ranking 27th. Novak Djokovic is in 15th place, Carlos Alcaraz is 18th, and Jannik Sinner is 21st. Iga Swiatek is 40th.
Interestingly, just behind Sobolenko, in 28th place in the ranking, is England national football team striker Harry Kane.
